ACEforce monitors and can automatically adjust compaction force to provide efficiency and avoid surface damage from over-compaction of sensitive areas. ACEecon continuously monitors compaction levels to the operator, boosting efficiencies – especially when compacting large areas. The APH vibratory plates can be equipped with the well-known Ammann ACE (Ammann Compaction Expert) system, developed for larger Ammann compactors but adjusted to fit the APH line. Multiquips Mikasa Plate Compactors are recognized as the industry standard for compacting granular soils and asphalt. The machine resumes working when the operator regains hold of the handle. This optional feature automatically stops the machine when the operator releases the handle. This fully hydraulic steering tool provides precise control with minimal operator effort.

ORBITOL STEERINGĪmmann’s unique orbitol steering system enhances machine control and agility and boosts safety, too. It also has heavy duty handle mounts that reduce hand arm vibration transfer to the operator. The improved model now comes with fold over handles for easy transport and storage. It is highly portable, easily maneuverable and delivers excellent compaction results. APH machines even can climb while backfilling saturated areas – work that can leave competitive products at a standstill. The FCP-87B Forward Plate Compactor is suitable for a wide range of compaction applications. The system keeps plate movement consistent, which in turn enables smooth travel – even through heavy, cohesive soils – and helps effortlessly overcome steep grades. This makes the machines easier to operate while increasing the power and compaction forces. TRIPLE-SHAFT EXCITER SYSTEMĪmmann developed a triple-shaft exciter system for its APH products, the largest offered. A hydraulic pump drives the eccentric shafts and controls adjustment of the centrifugal weights, allowing a smooth change of direction.

The APH line features a fully hydrostatic system that doesn’t require V belts.
